Results summer
The final of the 2018/19 Summer Soccer season was played last Monday 11th March.
The game was befitting of a final with evenly matched teams.
Green Mangoes came out on top, defeating 7 Deadly Shins 4-2.
The game began with both teams prioritising defence over attack and the scores were level at half time.
The game opened up after half time and both teams had plenty of opportunities, but the goals were still difficult to come by.
The game remained close until the Green Mangoes achieved a two goal buffer in the dying minutes.
Congratulations to all teams who participated in the the competition this season.
Games were played in great spirit and we look forward to another successful season later this year. |
